Zero emissions. Endless possibilities.
With zero emissions, effortless style and energized performance, the MX-30 EV truly delivers the exceptional driving experience you’d expect from Mazda. We didn’t just build an electric vehicle – we built a Mazda.
Performance on the go
Like all Mazda vehicles, every aspect of the MX-30 EV, from the body construction to engine technology, is designed to work together to maximize efficiency and deliver exceptional driving dynamics – car and driver in perfect harmony to deliver a sense of driving joy.
e—Skyactiv EV Technology
Experience a new standard in electric vehicle performance with 200 lb-ft torque and 143 hp, for an immediate response when you press the accelerator. Whether you’re driving straight ahead, stopping or easing into a turn, Mazda’s e—Skyactiv EV Technology makes it feel as though your car is an extension of you.
The new electrification technology in the MX-30 EV centres around a lightweight lithium battery (35.5 kWh), designed to ensure greater responsiveness while offering a range3 of approximately 161 kilometres on a full charge and multiple charging options.
Charge2 up from 20% to 80% in approximately 36 minutes with a Level 3: DC 50 kW fast charger, 2 hours and 50 minutes with a Level 2: AC 240V/30 amps charger, or 13 hours and 40 minutes with a Level 1: AC 120V/15 amps charger.
A SMOOTHER RIDE
The Mazda MX-30 EV is equipped with Electric G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus) which builds on Mazda-unique G-Vectoring Control Plus (GVC Plus) to create a feeling of oneness between you, your vehicle and the road. By subtly shifting the car’s weight in turns, it improves traction and handling for a smoother, more confident driving experience.
The ideal balance between use and impact.
Designed with your drive in mind, we outfitted the MX-30 EV with a smaller battery for a lighter weight, greater handling and a more agile drive. The battery and DC Fast Charging makes a full charge quick – great for the average 8.7 km Canadian city commute10.
Reduced environmental impact
From the sustainably sourced interior to the electricity that powers each lightweight battery, our first ever EV was designed holistically for a purely refined ride. Every detail was carefully considered from the lot to reclamation, producing fewer CO2 emissions during the entire MX-30’s lifecycle.

In the MX-30 EV, Mazda has designed a technological marvel from the ground up. With connected services to keep you in step with your vehicle’s every move, to 12-speaker BOSE surround sound or windshield-projected active driving display, the MX-30 EV redefines daily driving.

The result is a clean, powerful base with less buzz and rattle, and a deeper, more impactful reproduction that creates the perfect soundtrack for your journey.

Our available Active Driving Display projects critical driving information on the windshield, right within your line of sight. The information is delivered seamlessly so that your driving experience is undisturbed and uninhibited.
