With Mazda vehicles equipped with Bluetooth® hands-free capability, steering-wheel-mounted controls in conjunction with voice commands enable you to make and receive calls with your Bluetooth®-compatible phone. Simply pair your mobile phone with your vehicle and automatically download your mobile phonebook. Once set-up is complete you can enjoy your favourite tunes wirelessly through Bluetooth, never miss a text with the SMS feature and stream your favourite music and podcasts directly from the AhaTM or StitcherTM apps installed on your mobile phone.   • What is Bluetooth®?
    • Bluetooth® is the name of a wireless technology which allows compatible electronic devices to interact via short-range radio waves.

  • How do I answer a call using Bluetooth®?
    • TO ANSWER A PHONE CALL:

      1. After set-up is complete, your phone needs to be in the vehicle and turned on, with the Bluetooth® functionality enabled. You can now answer calls without touching the phone.

      2. When the hands-free system lets you know a call is coming in, available call ID information will be displayed.

      3. Press the “PHONE PICK-UP” button on the steering wheel if you want to accept the call. The audio system automatically switches to hands-free mode. Begin talking.

      4. Press the "PHONE HANG-UP" button on the steering wheel when you are finished with your call.

  • How do I make a call using Bluetooth®?
    • TO PLACE A PHONE CALL:

      1. After set-up is complete, your phone needs to be in the vehicle and turned on, with the Bluetooth® functionality enabled. You can now make calls without touching the phone.

      2. Press the “PHONE” button on the steering wheel and wait for the beep before speaking. The audio system automatically switches to hands-free mode.

      3. Say "Call or Dial." The vehicle will ask what name or number you would like to call.

      4. After the beep, say the number you would like to call. The vehicle will confirm the number.

      5. After the beep, say “yes” if the number is correct. If it is not, say "no", and the system will prompt you to re-enter the number you would like to call.

      6. After your conversation, press the “PHONE HANG-UP” button. The audio system automatically returns to its prior mode.
