NOTE: While a Level 3 charger is capable of significantly greater electrical output, the speed at which a battery can be charged will always be determined by the vehicle – rather than the theoretical limits of the charge station. A cold battery will charge at a significantly reduced rate until it reaches an optimal operating temperature. The maximum rate of charge for MX-30 is 40kWh.

The actual charging time depends on the various conditions at the time of charging, such as the type of fast charging station, battery status, charging habits and the battery and ambient temperature. In cold conditions, both the battery and the ambient temperature affect the required charging time, which in certain situations can lead to a significant increase in the charging time.
