Outside Temperature Display
When the vehicle power is switched ON, the outside temperature is displayed.
The outside temperature display may differ from the actual outside temperature depending on the surroundings and vehicle conditions. Drive the vehicle for awhile so that the ambient temperature sensor can adjust to the correct outside temperature.
Outside Temperature Warning (Some Models)
When the outside temperature is low, the indication flashes and a beep sound is heard to warn the driver of the possibility of icy roads.
If the outside temperature is lower than about 4 °C (39 °F), the outside temperature display and the 
mark flashes for about 3 seconds and a beep sound is heard once.
